Pack-Smart Inc. Automation is seeking a dynamic Technical Recruiter to identify, engage and attract top electro-mechanical and engineering talent for challenging projects. You will apply strategic sourcing, conduct interviews, and partner with engineering teams to meet milestones.

The role emphasizes collaboration, a technology passion, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. On-site work is expected at our Concord, Ontario facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in technical talent sourcing and assessment.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous professional development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong ability to share feedback and receive constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Source and hire high quality technical positions through Advertising, Role Promotion and Proactive Outreach.
• Collaborate closely with hiring team to assess evolving talent requirements and develop strategic approaches.
• Leverage diverse talent-sourcing strategies, including social media platforms and targeted outreach.
• Conduct behavioral-based interviews and phone/virtual screenings to evaluate candidates’ technical expertise and fit.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to talent acquisition, a strong understanding of technical skill sets, and a proven ability to recognize and secure top-tier professionals who can make a meaningful impact within the organization.

• Directly source and hire high quality technical positions to meet project milestones throughAdvertising, Role Promotion and Proactive Outreach
• Collaborate closely with hiring team to assess evolving talent requirements and develop strategic, tailored recruitment approaches aligned with business objectives.
• Leverage diverse talent-sourcing strategies, including social media platforms and targeted outreach, to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber candidates.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral-based interviews and phone/virtual screenings to evaluate candidates’ technical expertise, competencies, cultural alignment, and overall suitability for the role.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in technical talent sourcing and assessment, gained within agency recruitment or in-house engineering environments.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous professional development, with a commitment to staying current with emerging trends, tools, and industry practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong ability to share feedback and receive constructive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
