Job summary

Pack-Smart Inc. Automation is seeking a Field Service Technician (Commissioners) to install, commission, and support high-speed packaging automation systems. Will travel up to 50% nationally and internationally, with strong electro-mechanical skills and customer-focused service.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commissioning experience, ability to read drawings, and excellent communication. Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics is required.

• 4+ years of hands-on commissioning experience with automated systems or packaging machinery.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills — verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of system installation and commissioning through to customer acceptance.
• Work directly with cross-functional engineering teams and clients during design reviews and on-site implementations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical challenges, resolve root-cause issues, and document actionable solutions.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on best practices for setup, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

Job title: Field-Service Technician (Commissioners) – Be the product owner of high speed and precision automated equipment

Pack-Smart is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician (Commissioners) to install, commission, and support our advanced packaging automation systems. The ideal candidate brings strong electro-mechanical skills, thrives on solving real-world challenges, and is excited to travel to customer sites (and the world)! Commissioners display strong technical knowledge to our global customers, as well as providing pristine customer service, representing Pack-Smart Inc. internationally. International travel up to 50% is required!

Hourly Rate: $40-$45 per hour.
