Description

The Permanent Placement Recruiter – Engineering is responsible for developing and maintaining consistent performance in both sales and recruitment for direct-hire opportunities. This role is responsible for managing and influencing the direct-hire process for clients, prospects, and candidates within the engineering workforce sector to achieve monthly revenue goals.

Make an impact
  • Manage the full sales and recruitment lifecycle for direct-hire positions.
  • Secure new business from prospective and existing clients locally and nationally by leveraging opportunities to expand the business portfolio.
  • Attract, engage, market, and place candidates while proactively building a strong pipeline of in-demand talent.
Share expertise
  • Serve as an industry expert and trusted advisor by sharing recruitment expertise and workforce insights through various platforms.
  • Understand and educate others on direct-hire market dynamics, workforce management, and labor market trends.
Gain visibility
  • Collaborate with colleagues across regions, brands, and sectors to ensure the right talent is engaged for opportunities identified by business development and search consultants.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor to clients regarding talent market conditions, industry trends, attraction strategies, and employer branding.
  • Establish credibility within candidate networks by becoming a recognized resource for career opportunities and talent connections.
Typical day
  • Actively source both passive and active candidates for current searches.
  • Interview and qualify candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of in-demand passive talent to develop a talent community.
  • Plan and execute business development activities, including:
    • Proactively sharing top talent with prospective clients.
    • Following up on leads.
    • Conducting cold calls to generate new business.
  • Apply the direct-hire methodology to consistently and effectively manage and influence candidate and client search processes using a consultative approach.
  • Conduct detailed candidate discussions to prepare them for upcoming interviews.
  • Lead post-interview discussions with both candidates and clients to influence next steps and drive successful outcomes.
  • Perform in a role that is highly focused on phone communication, computer systems, and technology.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Industry: 2+ years of recruiting or sales experience within the industry.
