In addition, we've developed an innovative recruitment process that positions us to take advantage of the demographic changes taking place leading to record growth. With the launch and successful test case of our innovative recruitment outsourcing model, we need to hire a technical account manager/recruiter.

Based out of a fabulous warehouse-type office at King and Spadina…

You must have
  • Minimum 2 years corporate experience including customer service.
  • Executive-Class English communication skills
  • The ability to be an active listener who leverages this skill to truly understand client needs.
  • High energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
  • Persistence, Self-motivation and entrepreneurial tendencies.
  • A strong technical competency of MS Office applications and Internet. You have good typing and computer skills.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to engage people in conversations anywhere!
  • University Degree preferred.
  • We will train you to become a phenomenal recruiter, but you must have the least an education or corporate background in technology. In other words, you have a familiarity and basic understanding of technology, their acronyms and a breadth of technical knowledge from a conceptual standpoint. For example:
    Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, Access, etc
    Languages and tools: java, c++, C#, javascript, HTML, XML, j2ee, .net, VB, asp.net, COM/DCOM, STL, ATL
    Operating Systems: Networks and protocols: Win 2000/XP, Unix, Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP
In order for you to highly succeed
  • This position has a large sales element to it. You need to know how to sell yourself. You will be given warm leads and customers, but you will be expected to make cold calls and develop new business as well. For you to succeed you will need to have no reluctance picking up the phone and calling people you don’t know!
  • You have the desire to become a leader and go-to person with respect to recruitment - know who’s who in a variety of industries and leverage your profile to increase your network of contacts.
  • You have the desire to build a personal and company awareness within the business community through a consistent and dedicated process of industry events, PR, client meetings and networking.
  • You have the ability and desire to attend after hour networking meetings and events.
  • You’re organized and process oriented and can effectively manage time, priorities and tasks to reach your objectives.
  • You’re able to multi-task effectively so that nothing falls between the cracks.
  • You’re a creative problem solver who is able to look at problems from different angles in order to deliver innovative and effective results to provide a win-win solution.
  • You have a willingness to learn and teach new methods, concepts and processes to deliver superior and new solutions.
  • You possess strong negotiation skills with an ability to think quickly on your feet to quickly grasp client’s feedback... understanding that client objections means they require more information in order to turn that into a sale.
