Job summary

Pack-Smart Inc. in Concord, Ontario, seeks a Project Manager to champion high‑speed automation projects from start to finish.

You will bridge customers and internal teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with expectations, and you’ll manage scope, schedule, and resources while fostering cross‑department collaboration. The role requires 5+ years in automation project management, strong English communication, and ability to travel internationally.

• 5+ years of project management experience in automation, packaging equipment, or related environments.
• Strong leadership and multi-project prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget results.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and resources; coordinate across engineering, production, and service teams.
• Coordinate FAT testing and customer sign-off; report progress to stakeholders.

Job Title: Project Manager – Lead and Deliver World ClassAutomation Projects

We’re looking for a driven Project Manager to lead thesuccessful execution of automation projects from start to finish. In this role,you’ll be the bridge between our customers and internal teams, ensuringprojects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customerexpectations. Leveraging your organizational and leadership skills, you’llmanage scope, schedule, and resources while fostering collaboration acrossdepartments. Some international travel is required, meeting with industry leaders!

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 CAD
*Requests aboveof the salary range is available and determined by the hiring process*.

• Manage and execute projectdeadlines, contractual requirements, scope of work, and equipmentdelivery.
• Lead Factory AcceptanceTesting (FAT) by executing test plans, managing customer expectations,securing sign-off, and generating FAT reports.
• Drive critical successfactors with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, onbudget, and within agreed scope, time, and quality.
• Manage and reconcileproject capacity and milestones through close collaboration withengineering, production, and service departments.
• Identify issues that mayimpede progress and implement corrective actions or elevate as needed.
• Communicate projectprogress clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Diploma or Degree inMechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of projectmanagement experience in automation, packaging equipment, or custommachine building environments.
• Strong ability to managemultiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks.
• Exceptional written andoral communication skills in English.
• Proven track record ofimproving performance, meeting commitments, and achieving results.
• Ability to travelinternationally when required.
