ProMation Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter for a full-time hybrid role in Oakville, Ontario.

You will own full-cycle recruitment for technical and skilled roles, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical recruiting, especially in engineering, automation, manufacturing or trades, strong screening abilities, and superb stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven success recruiting technical roles.
• Experience recruiting within engineering, automation, manufacturing, or skilled trades environments.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Canadian technical labour markets.

Technical Recruiter - Full Time - Hybrid - Oakville, ON

Role Description

Promation is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support full‑cycle recruitment for technical and skilled roles across the organization. This is a hands‑on recruitment role focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management within an engineering‑driven, project‑based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and skilled trade roles across the organization, including engineering (project, controls, design), manufacturing and quality, project management, sales & applications, and assembly/machine shop functions, as well as skilled trades (e.g., machinists, millwrights, electricians, technicians)
• Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, project needs, and candidate profiles
• Draft and post job advertisements across appropriate recruitment platforms
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and targeted search strategies
• Review resumes and conduct technical screening interviews
• Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and technical teams

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 CAD
