Job summary

Chartright Air Group seeks a Technical Records Administrator (Contract) to ensure aircraft maintenance records are accurate, compliant, and archivable. You will review and process technical docs, coordinate with Maintenance, Planning and Quality teams, and support regulatory compliance across the fleet.

You will manage the organization and retrieval of records, assist with acquisitions and fleet changes, and help drive process improvements while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years of administration experience.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance (CAR 605.92, CAR 573.15) and maintenance terminology.
  • Ability to learn internal systems and technology tools.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily aircraft records including logs, work orders, and change records.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft, engine, component, and maintenance tracking records.
  • Review documentation to identify discrepancies and follow up on corrections.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Planning, and Technical Records teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage collection, organization, retention, and retrieval of technical records per policies and regulations.
  • Support aircraft acquisitions, transitions, and fleet changes through records coordination.
  • Record and maintain operational data such as fluid uplifts and maintenance data.

Role Overview

As a Technical Records Administrator (Contract), you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and organization of aircraft maintenance records. You will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and auditing technical documentation to ensure records are complete, compliant, and ready for archiving. Working closely with Maintenance, Planning, and Quality teams, you will support regulatory compliance and help ensure the ongoing integrity of the company's aircraft records.

What You’ll Do
  • Process daily aircraft records, including technical logs, work orders, task cards, component changes, and work packages.
  • Maintain accurate and current aircraft, engine, component, and maintenance tracking records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Review technical documentation to identify discrepancies, missing information, and items requiring correction or follow-up.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Planning, and Technical Records teams to resolve documentation issues and support compliance requirements.
  • Manage the collection, organization, retention, and retrieval of technical records in accordance with company policies and applicable aviation regulations.
  • Support aircraft acquisitions, transitions, and fleet changes through effective records coordination and document control.
  • Monitor records quality and recommend process improvements where appropriate.
  • Record and maintain operational data, including fluid uplifts and other maintenance-related information.
What You Bring
  • A minimum of one to three years’ administration experience
  • Aircraft Technical Records experience or other related experience
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance requirements (such as CAR 605.92 and CAR 573.15) and maintenance terminology
  • Ability to learn internal systems and technology tools
  • Familiarity with MS Office including intermediate Excel
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to accurately transcribe data
  • Highly structured and organized
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
