Job summary

Chartright Air Group is seeking a Line Service Technician to support ground operations for inbound and outbound flights. You will help maintain fleet readiness, assist passengers, and provide critical support across Charter, Aircraft Maintenance and Facilities.

Responsibilities include refueling, servicing aircraft, pre/post-flight support, and winter operations. A High School diploma and safety awareness are required, with a valid Ontario driver's license and RAIC/AVOP preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate; post-secondary coursework in aviation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance/aviation environment.
  • Self-starter; able to act independently and proactively.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ontario driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Radio license preferred or can be obtained soon.
  • RAIC and AVOP authorization are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide arrivals and departures support including fuel handling, chocking, securing aircraft, and baggage loading/unloading.
  • Perform aircraft lavatory and potable water service.
  • Assist pilots with pre- and post-flight services.
  • Inspect facility and fuel equipment for maintenance.
  • Conduct routine refueller and fuel farm checks.
  • Perform hangar and facility maintenance and cleaning.
  • Support winter operations such as de-icing and snow removal.

Role Overview

As a Line Service Technician, you will be responsible for supporting ground operations for inbound and outbound flights.This includesmaintainingfleet readiness,assistingpassengersand providing crucial support to other departments,Charter,AircraftMaintenanceandFacilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Arrivals and Departures Support such as fuelaircraft, ensuringaircraftare chocked, locked and secure and Loading/unloading baggage
  • Performaircraftlavatory and potable water service
  • Assistpilots withaircraftpre-and post-flight services
  • Check Facility and Fuel Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine refueller and fuel farm checks
  • Hangar and facility maintenance and cleaning
  • Winter Operations Support such as De-Icing/Anti-Icing ofaircraftand Shoveling/Ploughing of immediate operations areas
What You Bring
  • High School graduate withpost-secondaryaccreditation. Courses related to the aviation industry will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance/aviation environment
  • Self-starter, able to act independently and proactively
  • Possess solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ontario driver’s license with clean abstractrequired
  • Radio license preferred or able to get one in the short term
  • Possessor able toattaina Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)
Hours of Work

40 hoursof work per week; shift rotationscoverseven days per week as well as on statutory holidays. There might be “callouts” outside of regularly scheduled hours resulting in overtime pay.
