Job summary

Air Transat is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the Technical Records team for aircraft import/export activities, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance with Transport Canada and manufacturers’ maintenance manuals. The role collaborates with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to optimize workflows and support operations.

  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft leasing standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, priorities, and urgent matters in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI technologies (e.g., Copilot).
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English.

Job Description

In collaboration with the Manager, Aircraft Import and Export, the incumbent oversees the activities of the Technical Records team and ensures the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of aircraft maintenance records. The person in this role ensures that Transport Canada, manufacturer, and company maintenance manual requirements are met at all times while supporting the department’s day-to-day operations.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
