Job summary

Clearway Group of Companies is seeking a Technical Proposal Writer/Coordinator to support the preparation, coordination and submission of proposals for diverse construction projects. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and organized process to win new business and deliver top-tier projects.

The position reports to the Senior Bid and Proposal Manager and is based at Clearway's Maple, ON headquarters with standard 8:00 am–5:00 pm hours. Growth-minded professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Communications or related program is preferred/asset.
• 1–5 years in the construction industry; heavy civil is a strong asset.
• Experience as a construction project coordinator is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, compliant proposals.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity reading/interpreting drawings and specifications and creating schedules/work plans.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs/RFQs/RFTs/RFIs and drawings to create comprehensive requirement tables.
• Write technical construction work plans and methodologies meeting RFx requirements.
• Facilitate development of draft construction schedules with scheduling staff.
• Collaborate to develop compelling proposals for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs.
• Assist in coordinating communication with subcontractors regarding tender closings.
• Organize and manage proposal documents in digital and hard copy formats.
• Contribute to draft narratives addressing proposal requirements.
• Assist Senior Management, Estimating, and Operations to support business development.
