Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Technical Learning Advisor – Quality at the Dorval Plant 3 to partner with Quality, Production, Methods and Health & Safety teams to deliver learning solutions that promote compliance and operational excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

You will analyze training needs, develop materials, design hands-on activities, deliver sessions on the floor, and coach staff toward stronger quality performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quality role in aerospace or manufacturing.
• DEP/DEC in manufacturing/quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems & regulatory requirements.
• Experience in learning & development, coaching or knowledge transfer.
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
• Bilingual in French & English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality training needs and design learning content.
• Develop and update training materials for quality processes and standards.
• Design hands-on activities, application exercises & simulations for knowledge transfer.
• Develop training classrooms and environments for program delivery.
• Deliver training sessions in classrooms, workshops, and on the production floor.
• Support onboarding of new Quality Agents and promote compliance requirements.
• Act as SME to support resolution of quality-related issues.
• Coach employees and managers to enhance competencies and performance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities related to learning effectiveness and quality performance.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Learning Advisor – Quality within the aerospace industry. By joining the Organizational Learning team, you will act as a strategic partner supporting the development of quality-related competencies in manufacturing. You will work closely with Quality, Production, Methods, and Health & Safety teams to deliver learning solutions that promote compliance, operational excellence, and the achievement of manufacturing objectives.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Proactively participate in the analysis of quality training needs and the identification of appropriate learning approaches and content.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical training materials related to quality processes, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Design hands‑on activities, application exercises, and simulations that promote effective knowledge transfer in the workplace.
• Develop training classrooms and learning environments required for the delivery of training programs.
• Facilitate and deliver training sessions in classrooms, workshops, and on the production floor.
• Support the onboarding of new Quality Agents by promoting compliance requirements and a strong quality culture.
• Act as an advisor and subject matter expert by providing the required expertise to support the resolution of operational quality-related issues.
• Coach employees and managers through feedback and development activities to enhance competencies and performance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities related to learning effectiveness and quality performance, develop action plans, and ensure follow‑up with stakeholders.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality environment within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• You hold a vocational diploma (DEP), college diploma (DEC), or equivalent education in a manufacturing or quality‑related field.
• You have a strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes.
• You have experience in learning and development, adult education, coaching, or knowledge transfer.
• You demonstrate excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• You are self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• You adapt easily to change and have a strong problem‑solving mindset.
• You possess excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• You are proficient with Microsoft 365 and other computer applications.
• You are bilingual in French and English.
