Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC, is seeking a Trainer, Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Pre-Flight) to develop and deliver hands-on training for new aircraft maintenance personnel.

You will integrate learning solutions with manufacturing objectives, lead coaching sessions, and collaborate with strategic partners to ensure effective programs. A minimum of 4 years as a Pre-flight Mechanical Technician and bilingual proficiency in French and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Pre-flight Mechanical Technician.
• DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance; M2/EASA B1/FAA A&P licenses are assets.
• Experience in learning, adult education, project management, or coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Learning Advisor with a mechanical technician profile. By joining the organizational learning team, you will act as both an advisor and trainer, addressing the initial training needs of our new employees. You will work closely with strategic partners to propose learning solutions that contribute to achieving the objectives of the manufacturing plan.

• Act as a resource person and provide the technical expertise required to implement new learning solutions and programs

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pre‑flight Mechanical Technician
• You hold a DEC or AEC in Aircraft Maintenance (an M2 License or EASA B1 License or FAA A&P would be an asset)
• You have experience in learning, adult education, project management, or coaching
• You have excellent interpersonal skills
• You are able to manage projects effectively
• You have the ability to influence others
• You are a strong team player
