Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Senior Analyst, Quality Assurance in Canada to lead quality projects across engineering, production and service teams. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product and process quality.

You will mentor teams in quality tools, ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, and support a robust Quality Management System while driving risk reduction and performance gains.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Project Management in manufacturing or regulated environments.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement projects related to quality.
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Service to deploy quality initiatives.
  • Analyze non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in change management activities to mitigate operational and quality risks.
  • Develop, track, and present quality performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Coach in the application of quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and risk analysis.
  • Support maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with standards.
  • Facilitate complex problem-solving and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement projects related to quality.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach in the application of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and risk analysis.
  • Support the maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Facilitate complex problem-solving activities and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or another relevant field, or possess equivalent experience.
  • You have significant experience (minimum of 8 years) in Quality Assurance and Project Management within a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • You have a solid understanding of quality standards and requirements, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • You possess excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is considered an asset.
  • You are recognized for your autonomy, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • You are fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
