Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 8+ years of software experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and operating backend services in public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience architecting scalable distributed systems for high‑volume workloads and performance.
• Hands‑on backend development experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience providing technical leadership on software projects, including system design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for Splunk Cloud Platform to handle diverse data ingestion and performance needs.
• Lead technical execution with engineers, managers, and architects to define solutions and deliver reliable features.
• Develop monitoring and AI-powered capabilities such as proactive issue detection and automated remediation.
• Build integrations and contribute to cross‑org initiatives across metrics, events, logs, and traces.
• Ensure production reliability through troubleshooting and participation in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
