GTA Concepts is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative in Beamsville, Ontario. The role combines inside sales, order support and occasional AutoCAD work within the mechanical HVAC space.

You will interact with customers, enter orders, and coordinate with an in‑house engineering team to keep enquiries moving. • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar technical program.
• Approximately 3–4 years of experience in engineering, mechanical, or industrial settings.
• Practical AutoCAD skills and ability to read/interpret technical drawings.
• Clear communication with customers and confidence in dialogue.
• Accurate, organized approach to order entry, follow-up, and shifting priorities.
• Comfort with learning business systems and using Excel; CRM/ERP experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work in Beamsville office every day; exposure to HVAC or related mechanical equipment is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email; clarify requirements and coordinate with the technical team.
• Enter customer orders accurately and verify all required information.
• Follow up on outstanding inquiries and orders to reduce backlog.
• Keep customers and colleagues informed of progress, missing information, and next steps.
• Assist with technical product information and quotation follow-up as needed.
• Occasionally use AutoCAD to assist with drawings and revisions, with technical review as needed.
• Maintain organized customer and order records and support other inside sales and technical tasks.

Technical Inside Sales Representative

Beamsville, Ontario | Full-time, in office | $70,000 base salary

Have a mechanical technology background and enjoy working with customers? This role combines inside sales, order support and occasional AutoCAD work within the mechanical HVAC industry.

You will help existing customers get the information and support they need, enter orders and keep outstanding enquiries moving. Working alongside an in-house technical team, you will also assist with drawing updates and other technical tasks as needed. The role suits someone with approximately three to four years of relevant experience who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the details right.

What you will do:

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, clarify requirements and coordinate answers with the technical team.
• Enter customer orders accurately and check that the necessary information is complete.
• Follow up on outstanding enquiries and orders to help reduce the backlog.
• Keep customers and colleagues informed of progress, missing information and next steps.
• Assist with technical product information and quotation follow-up as required.
• Use AutoCAD from time to time to assist with drawings and revisions, with technical review as needed.
• Maintain organized customer and order records, and help with other inside sales and technical support tasks.

What you bring:

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a comparable technical program.
• Approximately three to four years of experience in an engineering, mechanical or industrial setting (ideally)
• Practical AutoCAD skills and the ability to read and work with technical drawings.
• Clear communication and confidence speaking with customers and asking questions.
• An accurate, organized approach to order entry, follow-up and changing priorities.
• Comfort learning business systems and using Excel. Experience with CRM, order-entry or ERP systems is an asset.
• Interest in a varied role that combines customer support and technical work.
• The ability to work in the Beamsville office each day. Commercial HVAC or related mechanical equipment exposure is an asset.

This is an opportunity to put your technical education to work in a role with regular customer contact and support from an in-house engineering team. You will contribute directly to the daily operation, build product knowledge and gain experience across inside sales, order coordination and occasional drafting. The base salary is $70,000, with the potential for commission later as the role expands into developing new sales.

Location requirement

This position is based in the Beamsville office each day. Candidates should live locally or have a reliable, practical daily commute.
