Job summary

ICONIX Waterworks is seeking a customer-focused support role in Ottawa, Ontario. You will provide technical support to customers, collaborate with the Outside Sales team to grow existing accounts and acquire new ones, and educate customers on product features and benefits.

You will also process orders, prepare quotations, and assist with warehouse tasks and general sales/marketing initiatives. The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year wholesale distribution experience, and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in wholesale distribution.
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment; able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Comfort with using a variety of technology and new computer applications.
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in inclement weather as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support and services to customers.
• Works with Outside Sales team to grow existing customers and create new ones.
• Educates customers about features and benefits of our services and products.
• Processes customer orders, including data entry.
• Prepares quotations, bids, and letters.
• Assists in the warehouse, shipping and receiving, and other administrative duties.
