Job summary

Humans Of HR represents a well-established client in the Greater Vancouver tech space, seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to join the leadership team. This hands-on role leads the sales group, collaborates with marketing, and focuses on growing existing customers while winning new business.

You will drive strategic execution, nurture key accounts, and report on performance, with a lean, high-impact culture and direct access to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive B2B sales experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams in SaaS/tech sales.
• Proven track record in enterprise or multi-stakeholder deals.
• Relationship-driven approach with strong account management.
• Hands-on, execution-focused leadership style.
• Strong command of CRM tools, pipeline management and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the sales team with clear targets and accountability.
• Drive revenue growth through account expansion, retention, and new business.
• Work with marketing to align campaigns, events, and messaging with sales priorities.
• Translate leadership priorities into clear, actionable plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting with discipline.
• Oversee sales processes and CRM hygiene for efficiency.
• Contribute to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market discussions.
• Track and report on key commercial metrics including new business and retention.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture in a lean organization.
