Job description

Within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) department of Global IT (GIT), which manages the information system for capital markets activities (pre-trade, post-trade, risks), the Structured & Sales (Sales) Filière covers application support, maintenance, and development of the application information system.

Our missions include:

  1. Pre-Trade workflows with multiple Sales-Traders applications dedicated by product and a global blotter to centralize all transactions.
  2. A global application called Omega to monitor the commercial activity of Capital Markets, in coordination with Marketing, Sales, e-business, and Middle Office departments. This application is used by Sales to manage transactions, sales margins, and performance.
  3. Supporting regulatory requirements related to PRIIPS, MIFID II, and ESG regulations, providing the necessary tools to meet these standards.

As a Team Lead within the Sales Filière, you are responsible for managing and coordinating functional and technical deliveries. You act as the referent for both areas, overseeing developments and ensuring solutions meet business needs while managing risks, quality, costs, and deadlines. You foster innovation, ensure compliance with standards, and maintain alignment with business expectations.

You report to the IT Division Manager of the Structured & Sales Filière based in Paris.

Manage the delivery for the Montreal team
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, define and monitor milestones, and prioritize actions.
  • Identify and address risks effectively.
  • Ensure the setup aligns with business needs.
Support the technical and functional resources
  • Create an environment of trust promoting open communication, innovation, and learning from mistakes.
  • Establish a framework encouraging autonomy, creativity, risk-taking, and continuous improvement.
  • Support skill development for new and junior team members.
  • Assist team members in resolving technical or functional issues.
  • Participate in reviewing functional specifications and code reviews.
