Our client, a well-established Québec insurer with over 100 years of history, is experiencing significant growth and is looking to welcome a Team Leader - Personal Lines Underwriting to support and develop its underwriting team.
In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing operations, advancing underwriting practices, and leading a high-performing team toward achieving business objectives.

Coordinate all Personal Lines underwriting activities, including quote reviews, renewals, and policy changes submitted by agents
Oversee underwriting operations by guiding risk assessment, selection, and pricing decisions, particularly for complex files, while ensuring sound portfolio management
Collaborate with senior leadership and the sales and service teams to define growth strategies for the Personal Lines Insurance division
Lead, coach, and support team members through continuous development, knowledge sharing, and achievement of common goals
Drive the evolution of underwriting practices by developing and optimizing standards, processes, and tools to enhance consistency, quality, and operational efficiency
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance
Previous leadership or team management experience (an asset)
Strong leadership and coaching abilities
