Job summary

Karis Disability Services in Prince Albert, SK, is seeking a Full-Time Team Leader to support a new group home location. You will lead Direct Support Professionals, coordinate daily supports, and promote growth and quality of life for people we serve.

You will provide timely updates to your supervisor, help build communities of belonging in line with our core values, and ensure high standards of courtesy, respect and integrity in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driving License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in the delivery of daily supports and services at the location.
• Assist Direct Support Professionals in meeting the needs of people we serve, promoting growth and enhancing quality of life.
• Provide timely communication to their supervisor on important matters related to supports, services, and employee performance.

Education

College diploma/Degree in related Field of Developmental Services, DSW equivalent

Full-Time Team Leader-Prince Albert

40 hrs per week supporting the new group home location.
The Team Leader will assist the Direct Support Professionals in meeting the needs of the people we serve, promoting growth and enhancing quality of life. They are responsible to lead the team in the delivery of the daily supports and services provided at the location. The Team Leader provides timely communication to their supervisor on important matters related to supports, services, and employee performance. The Team Leader helps build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Karis Disability Services; Valuing People, Fostering Belonging, Serving Others and Karis Disability Services, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy, respect and integrity in their dealings with persons supported, other employees and both internal and external stakeholders.

Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Valid class 5 Saskatchewan Driving License and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• 2 years Developmental Services experience
• College diploma/Degree in related Field of Developmental Services, DSW equivalent
