AdaptAbilities is hiring a Respite/ Disability Worker - Team Lead for our St. Albert location. You will supervise Community Specialists, oversee program planning, and ensure services align with participant goals and outcomes.
You will lead frontline staff, foster dignity and empowerment for people with disabilities, and collaborate with the Program Supervisor to maintain a safe, supportive environment. This is a full-time role reporting to the Program Supervisor.

Ideally, you have extensive experience working with children, young adults or vulnerable individuals in a health care, school, or home setting. You have experience and are confident in supporting individuals who may exhibit behaviours that limit their ability to access or participate in community. This is a full-time permanent position based out of our St. Albert Respite Centre (#203, 7 St Anne St, St. Albert, AB T8N 2X4) and will report to the Program Supervisor.
The Team Lead (TL) will be reporting to the assigned Program Supervisor. The TL provides leadership and support to Community Specialists (CS) and participants for assigned programs. This role will ensure program planning and implementation focuses on participant goals and meeting assigned outcomes. The conscientious TL will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with disabilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.
Compensation: $25.65 to $26.95/ hour depending on experience and education
