Job summary

HW Partners is seeking a CPA-designated Tax Team Lead to mentor staff accountants, supervise tax compliance and advisory engagements, and serve as the primary liaison between clients and your team. Take ownership of complex tax returns and research projects, develop engagement plans and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Minimum two years' tax experience in public practice.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with corporate and personal tax compliance and research.
• Enrolment in CPA In-Depth Tax Course is a plus.

Responsibilities

What You Bring:

• CPA designation.
• Minimum two years' experience in tax within a public practice environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with corporate and personal tax compliance, tax research, and an interest in tax planning and advisory.
• Enrolled in the CPA In-Depth Tax Course (Parts I, II, and III), with progress towards completion considered an asset.
• Eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and take on new challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Enthusiasm for tax, public accounting, and team leadership.
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
