The role emphasizes oversight of assurance and non-assurance engagements, leadership, and professional development. A CPA designation and several years in public practice are required, with bilingual English/French considered an asset.

Qualifications

• CPA designation (or equivalent) and public practice experience.
• Minimum four years’ public practice, with at least one year in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of compilation, review, and engagements, as well as corporate and personal tax.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple assurance and non-assurance engagements, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Lead pre-engagement planning, scope and assign work, and maintain firm QA standards.
• Apply technical expertise to provide insightful recommendations and solutions for clients.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for added value and new business.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a culture of learning and high performance.
• Participate in firm management, policy development, and professional standards committees.
• Deliver presentations and training, sharing expertise internally and externally.
• Contribute to recruitment and performance evaluations, helping select and grow top talent.
