Job summary

Kiokii Inc. in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Team Lead to set the standard for customer service and sales excellence in our new Stone Road Mall store.

The role trains and guides staff, coordinates daily store operations, drives sales targets, and ensures health and safety standards are met. Experience in retail leadership and strong communication are essential; lifting up to 30 lbs is required, and you will support opening and setup activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Passionate about the Asian beauty industry and trends to guide staff and enhance the customer experience
• Skilled in effective communication and building strong interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle store operational needs
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and customer service standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and coordinate workflows with store management
• Provide clear direction, support, and training to store associates
• Maintain store conditions to meet company standards and safety regulations
• Support staffing efforts to align with business needs and operations
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating when necessary
• Drive sales performance by meeting store targets and KPIs

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you will set the standard for excellence by exemplifying Kiokii’s sales and customer service values, inspiring and guiding the team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our visitors. Including but not limited to…

• Assistingthe store management team in overseeing and coordinating daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
• Providing clear direction, support, and training to store associates as needed
• Maintaining store conditions to ensure they consistently meet company standards and adhering to Health and Safety regulations
• Supporting staffing efforts to align with business needs and operations as requested
• Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and escalating matters to higher management when necessary
• Driving sales performance by meeting store targets and key performance metrics
• Support with store opening and setup

What We're Looking For
