Job summary

Kiokii Inc. is seeking a Team Lead at Pacific Centre in Vancouver to oversee daily store operations, coach staff, ensure Health and Safety standards, and drive sales performance in a dynamic retail environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience with leadership experience preferred, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. You will contribute to a high-energy team delivering an exceptional shopper experience across Asian beauty products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Passionate about the Asian beauty industry and staying updated on latest products and trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform store operations duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily store operations to ensure smooth workflows.
• Provide direction, support, and training to store associates.
• Maintain store conditions per company standards and Health & Safety regulations.
• Support staffing efforts to align with business needs.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating when needed.
• Drive sales performance by meeting store targets and KPIs.
• Assist with store opening and setup.

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you will set the standard for excellence by exemplifying Kiokii’s sales and customer service values, inspiring and guiding the team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our visitors. Including but not limited to…

• Assistingthe store management team in overseeing and coordinating daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
• Providing clear direction, support, and training to store associates as needed
• Maintaining store conditions to ensure they consistently meet company standards and adhering to Health and Safety regulations
• Supporting staffing efforts to align with business needs and operations as requested
• Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and escalating matters to higher management when necessary
• Driving sales performance by meeting store targets and key performance metrics
• Support with store opening and setup

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Passionate about the Asian beauty industry, dedicated to continuous learning, sharing expertise, and staying up to date with the latest products and trends to guide staff and enhance the customer experience
• Skilled in effective communication and building strong interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and customer service standard
