Job summary

Altis is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist in Ottawa to lead full-cycle recruitment across diverse roles within a healthcare organization. The role partners with HR and hiring managers to design strategies, sources candidates, and guide decisions with market insights.

You will build interview guides, conduct screenings, and manage communications while promoting an inclusive, candidate-centric process.

Qualifications

  • Must have bilingual English/French communication skills.
  • Minimum 4+ years of in-house, full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles, from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and provide market insights.
  • Proactively source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
  • Create interview guides, screening tools, and assessments to support fair and inclusive hiring.
  • Manage candidate communications, reference checks, and ATS updates.
  • Collaborate with HR on employer branding and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid, primarily remote with 1 to 2 days onsite per week)

Language: Advanced written and spoken English and French required (Bilingual Essential)

Duration: 22-month full-time term

Your Responsibilities
  • You'll lead full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of positions, from sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • You'll partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, provide market insights, and guide hiring decisions.
  • You'll proactively source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and creative talent attraction strategies.
  • You'll create interview guides, screening tools, and assessments to support fair, inclusive, and effective hiring.
  • You'll manage candidate communications, reference checks, offer preparation, and applicant tracking system updates.
  • You'll collaborate with HR colleagues on employer branding initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of progressive in-house, full-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate environment.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Proven experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent attraction platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HR technology, ideally including Workday and Jobvite.
  • Excellent relationship-building, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional candidate experience with professionalism and attention to detail.
