  • Coordinate applicable pre-employment checks and prepare offers, transfer letters, and other employment documentation.
  • Prepare onboarding materials, coordinate orientation activities, and ensure required documentation is completed on time.
  • Update employee information, new hires, transfers, and employment changes within the HR information system.
  • Assist with HR reporting, analytics, data validation, and audits using HR systems, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries and connect employees with the appropriate resources.
  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives, internal communications, and HR projects.
  • Research emerging HR practices and trends related to recruitment, retention, employee experience, and inclusive workplaces.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate information.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee and candidate information.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using an HRIS or similar HR technology is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to HR reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools is an asset.
  • Progress toward a recognized HR professional designation is considered an asset.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with employees, candidates, managers, and other stakeholders.

Our client offers an environment where an early-career HR professional can expand their capabilities while contributing to meaningful day-to-day HR activities.

  • Competitive salary of $60,000 to $65,000 annually.
  • Hybrid work model with a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work.
  • Broad exposure to recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, systems, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with HR technology and data-driven reporting.
