MacDonald Search Group is recruiting on behalf of a global privately owned corporation for a French/English bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Canadian HR team. The role blends full-cycle recruitment with HR generalist duties, shaping a positive employee experience from first contact to long-term success.

This hybrid position requires onsite days near the GTA West head office; you will lead end-to-end recruitment for bilingual and non-bilingual roles and partner with hiring

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume recruitment, ideally in sales or field-based environments.
• Post-secondary education in HR or related discipline; CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
• Experience with HRIS systems and/or benefits administration.
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, values-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for bilingual and non-bilingual roles across Canada with a focus on sales and leadership positions.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to build candidate pipelines and enhance the employer brand.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and guide hiring decisions.
• Manage onboarding, reference checks, and candidate experience initiatives.
• Support HR systems and processes including HRIS updates, reporting, and benefits administration.
• Contribute to HR projects that improve efficiency, data integrity, and team operations.
• Be a culture ambassador promoting inclusion and engagement.

LOCATION: Hybrid - GTA West

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are recruiting on behalf of a global privately owned corporation and they are on the hunt for a French/English Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their collaborative Canadian HR team.

This will be a blended role combining full-cycle recruitment with hands‑on HR generalist and HR operations duties, helping to shape a positive employee experience from first contact to long‑term success.

This is a hybrid position and the frequency of onsite days will depend on proximity to head office located in GTA West area; if under 1 hour commute, 2 days per week; if between 1-1.5 hours, 1 day biweekly; if more than 1.5 hours, 1 day per month.

MUST be fully bilingual (French/English) - both written and verbal; need to be comfortable conducting full interviews in either language.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for both bilingual and non-bilingual roles across Canada with a focus on sales and leadership positions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST be fully bilingual (French/English) - both written and verbal.

• Post-secondary education in HR or related discipline; CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset.
