Role description:
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join us to lead on attracting and selecting talent for Arcadis, North America (US & Canada). In this role, you will contribute to the business’s success by supporting recruitment and enabling the business to prioritise its hiring in accordance with its commercial needs. You will also support the overall employer of choice agenda in the delivery of talent.
In this role, you will be part of a global talent acquisition function.
Role accountabilities:
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, with a view to attracting the best possible talent to expand our teams, primarily within the disciplines of Architecture, Design & Engineering and Program & Project Management, although it’s likely you will also be asked to resource roles from a much wider portfolio on occasion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, with a view to sourcing the best possible talent to expand our teams.
- Using your market knowledge and best practice to advise stakeholders on process and ensure that all roles are sourced effectively.
- Positioning Arcadis as an employer of choice while conducting candidate screening and interviewing prospective candidates.
- Managing a high volume of permanent vacancies across diverse levels and skill sets, ensuring that priorities are identified and met.
- Managing the overall candidate experience, ensuring a positive outcome for all individuals, regardless of outcome
- Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers and the various stakeholders you encounter throughout the recruitment process.
- Be an advocate for our values and ensure our recruitment processes are inclusive and free of bias’s.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will be an experienced recruiter, likely having started in an agency/RPO before transitioning to in-house – a background that will have given you strong knowledge of how to identify and approach talent in niche, skill-short markets.
- Significant familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching, and the best practice use of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Significant experience in hiring Engineering or Architecture talent in the US or Canada is required
- Experience in an AEC environment considered an asset
- Your experience will allow you to credibly advise stakeholders on recruiting best practice
- Capable of confidently and articulately contribute to Talent Acquisition discussions, and able to demonstrate a proactive, positive, and curious mindset
- Able to overcome setbacks, learn, and continue to develop
- Happy to positively challenge the norm, you will be able to evidence a continuous improvement mindset to assist us in our journey
- Driven and determined, yet empathetic to the needs of the various stakeholders you encounter throughout the recruitment process

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
