Location: Remote - must be based in Canada (ideally Toronto)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm (flexible working hours)

Salary: high commission percentage based on performance

We work across multiple verticals with areas of expertise in Software Engineering, Sales/Customer Support, Engineering/Construction. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a seasoned, ambitious, and self-driven recruiter.

Description:

We’re looking for a seasoned Recruiter with at least 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within an agency setting, to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a remote position for a self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with minimal supervision, and has a proven track record of successfully recruiting across multiple industries. As a key part of our recruiting operations, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates across a variety of roles and sectors, helping our clients build exceptional teams.

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Attend meetings to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
  • Source candidates using a mix of platforms (LinkedIn, databases, job boards, referrals, etc.).
  • Conduct screening interviews and virtual meetings to assess candidates and ensure they fit the profile.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between clients and candidates.
  • Provide regular updates and insights internally.
  • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Juggle multiple requisitions across diverse industries with speed and precision.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a preference for candidates with agency recruiting background.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry considered a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to recruit across multiple functions and industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
  • Must be based in Canada (Toronto preferred).
