During this work term, you’ll get hands-on experience with lifecycle management of servers (including building and migrating), risk management, and helping us redesign some processes.

This position requires full-time on-site presence.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleanup and life-cycling of existing servers
  • Review and update the chargeback, quoting and billing process for new server builds and capacity additions
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize Cloud and Data Center (CDC) risk items across the environment
  • Develop and implement remediation plans for outstanding CDC risks
  • Establish review and reporting mechanisms to ensure ongoing attention to inventory lifecycle is maintained
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of the storage blueprint project
  • Provide input and support in areas related to server management, policy standardization, and risk reduction
  • Ensure that project deliverables incorporate best practices for infrastructure design and operational efficiency
