Supply Chain Specialist

COMPANY

Agri-Neo’s mission is to help safely feed the world. Our vision is to set new food safety standards with our treatments for many foods. Our first product line is Neo-Pure, which leverages our proprietary technology of liquid formulas and systems that apply our solutions onto spices, seeds, herbs, and nuts in food processing facilities. These solutions control pathogens such as Salmonella and other microorganisms to ensure food safety and prevent recalls. We serve customers globally, including North America, Latin America, China, and Egypt, with large mainstream food processors. We are scaling up our products at more customer sites to establish new food safety and quality standards.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Specialist oversees procurement of systems, parts, and solutions, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, transportation, and delivery. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, tracking shipments, managing inventory, forecasting demand, and process improvement to streamline operations. The role ensures that products meet quality standards, cost objectives, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Procurement:

  • Manage ERP orders, deliveries, shipments, invoices, and payments.
  • Drive supplier rationalization, impact analysis, and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain ERP supplier master data for accuracy.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and internal teams for a capable supply base.
  • Develop supplier programs and manage RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Track reporting on minority spend, green initiatives, profitability, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor supplier compliance via scorecards and report on diversification metrics.
  • Establish and maintain an approved vendor list.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on purchasing and projects.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Analyze costs and participate in cost reduction activities.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure procurement at optimal prices and conditions.

Servicing / Warehousing / Logistics:

  • Coordinate shipments with shipping and receiving teams.
  • Implement inventory accuracy and efficiency improvements.
  • Forecast material needs with engineering teams.
  • Maintain documentation for inventory activities.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years in supply chain operations, procurement, inventory, or warehousing.
  • Experience in technical parts procurement is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Skills:

  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
