Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will support the Manager by proactively partnering with the Supply Chain Management Team to provide in-depth insights into business performance, help drive the business, and support planning and analysis for better decision-making. This role involves analyzing and reporting on productivity and trends in Distribution & Transportation, profitability, key performance metrics, and other ad hoc reports. The position works closely with the Supply Chain Operations Team to contribute to the long-term growth, development, and profitability of the business.

Job Duties:

• Support month-end close and prepare accrual entries
• Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and budget
• Report on DC and transportation KPIs
• Provide regular reporting to management and executives to support better decision-making
• Assist in the timely completion of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans
• Prepare operational reviews for management and provide insights for areas of improvement
• Perform analysis for major new projects/investments
• Conduct ad hoc analyses as required

Job Specifications

Unique Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field (required)
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Access; advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing
• CPA designation is considered an asset
• Experience in supply chain or data analytics is an advantage
