Customer Supply Chain Specialist - 14-Month Contract

The Customer Supply Chain Specialist reports to the Manager, Customer Supply Chain, acting as a key liaison with customers and sales teams to develop professional, long-term relationships through accurate and timely order management, process improvement, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Process, audit, and manage customer orders in JDE, ensuring availability, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Follow up on stock shortages, order shipping, customer-specific requirements, and issues related to accurate and timely shipments.
  • Serve as the main contact for customers to address questions and resolve discrepancies regarding stock, availability, shortages, shipment timings, and company policies.
  • Complete month-end reporting and closing activities promptly.
  • Generate and analyze case fill reports monthly.
  • Recommend and implement policies and procedures to optimize operations.
  • Assist with audits and resolve customer non-compliance charges.
  • Manage OS&D deductions for assigned customers, providing insights to the manager.
  • Monitor open orders to ensure timely processing from receipt to delivery.
  • Update customers on order delays and shortages to minimize impacts on on-time delivery and case fill, reducing potential fines.
  • Create and review monthly customer scorecards.
Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of experience in customer service and order management within an MRP environment, preferably JDE or SAP.
  • Supply chain and EDI experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and order entry systems.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Post-secondary education required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and French.
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills.
