Job summary

The Ches Penney Family YMCA is hiring a Supervisor, Housekeeping to lead the cleaning team, maintain safety and quality, and manage supplies. This full-time contract role runs days, evenings and weekends with an end date of December 14, 2026 and potential extension.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and staff coordination, ensuring a welcoming, hygienic facility for members and guests. Standard First Aid/CPR and WHMIS are required.

  • Minimum of high school diploma (or currently completing)
  • Experience in facility cleaning
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs of the service environment
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks
  • Standard First Aid and CPR and WHMIS certified
  • Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on an individual basis

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00/hr

Join Our Team

The Supervisor, Housekeeping is a self-motivated professional with strong cleaning, organizational, and communication skills. This role provides leadership and oversight to the housekeeping team, ensuring cleanliness, safety and quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the facility. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as required, and coordinating the scheduling of staff and volunteers. This is a full-time contract position that includes days, evenings and weekend work with an expected end date of December 14, 2026 and the possibility of extension.


Job Requirements
