Job Description
  1. Lead by example, providing ongoing coaching, training, and motivation to the event security staff.
  2. Ensure the safety of fans and employees through effective crowd management.
  3. Communicate positively and professionally with staff and fans.
  4. Promote a 'one team' approach, ensuring departmental integrity and a shared vision.
  5. Ensure compliance with MLSE policies and procedures by fans and staff.
  6. Report and follow up on incidents promptly and effectively.
  7. Liaise with third-party contractors, including police officers, during events.
  8. Understand and foster positive relations in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  9. Adhere to MLSE service standards, policies, and procedures.
  10. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Effective listening, understanding, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain Smart Serve Certification.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience in sports & entertainment is a plus.
  • Outgoing, organized, diplomatic, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to foster a positive, innovative work environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and AGCO regulations.
  • Positive approach with integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Possession of a valid Security License (Bill C-159) is an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, or nights.
