We are hiring a Business Services Team Manager to lead travel, logistics, event planning, scheduling, expense policy, and administration. This executive role demands excellent coordination, planning, decision-making, budgeting, procurement, reporting, and management skills in a fast-paced tech environment.
The team manages large-scale company events involving travel for hundreds of employees across 80+ countries, held quarterly. Responsibilities include travel procurement and logistics, visas, handling travel issues, and ensuring safety and efficiency. The team also oversees expense claims to ensure fairness and transparency, handling significant operational costs and decisions.
Additional responsibilities include providing 'EA'-like services for company leaders, such as scheduling, report coordination, delegated approvals, and small project management.
Location: Worldwide, home-based, with exceptions in locations with offices (London, Taipei, Beijing).
This team impacts every department at Canonical. The manager must have sound judgment, interpersonal skills, confidence in policy enforcement, and a strong work ethic. The role involves participating in all company events to foster relationships and ensure smooth operations.
