Une entreprise de distribution alimentaire recherche un(e) Gérant(e) en transport à Boucherville. Le titulaire sera responsable d'assigner des routes aux chauffeurs, de s'assurer que les livraisons sont effectuées dans les délais, et de gérer les équipes de travail. Les candidats doivent avoir d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et une expérience dans le secteur du transport est un atout. Autonome et dynamique, la personne recherchée est minutieuse et possède un bon esprit d'analyse. De plus, elle aime travailler en équipe et communiquer avec différents intervenants pour rechercher de l'information.
Obtain update from prior shift (including DP times, load types, non-retail load update, other critical information)
Review operational +/-, identify labour required by load time availability
Review emails, confirm all loads are printed and drivers are assigned a match (reconcile), ensure loads are being completed
Sort time sheets by driver Hours of Service (HOS) availability (fresh or return)
Organize retail loads, non-retail loads and consolidate
Select drivers based on operational needs and assign suitable route
Assign drivers via driver app (see Driver App process for details)
Provide update to following shift upon their arrival (including DP times, load types, non-retail load update, other critical information)
Answer incoming calls as needed
Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from upper management to drivers
Ability to work in multiple systems and applications, with a quick ability to learn
Teammate, who is willing to assist others when needed
Above average decision making skills
Strong customer service skills
Prior experience in a transportation environment is preferred
