Playground Poker is hiring a Breakfast Line Cook to prepare and plate morning meals with precision, ensuring freshness and quality. You will manage your station, follow prep lists, and collaborate with the kitchen to maintain smooth operations at our gaming destination near Montreal.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, bilingual communication, and a strong focus on safety. Flexible shifts include weekends and holidays with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and/or French and 18 years or older.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Positive and collaborative team player attitude.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, overnight hours and holidays.
• Must have a valid Canadian working visa.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to prep lists and par levels.
• Understand POS generated orders.
• Execute dishes according to recipes in a timely manner and with the highest standards for quality.
• Respect health and safety procedures.
• Respect restocking par levels.
• Close and clean the station according to restaurant standards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and the chef.
