Aecon Utilities seeks a Substation Civil Supervisor to lead field civil work for substation projects in Alberta/BC, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

With 5+ years of on-site civil leadership, you will coordinate trenching, earthworks, concrete foundations, and duct banks, review drawings and specifications, and collaborate with PMO, Design, and client teams while fostering an inclusive work culture. Qualifications

• 5+ years on-site construction leadership in civil projects.
• Experience with trenching, ducts, underground utilities.
• High-voltage substation interfaces a plus.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, IFCs, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid reviews to verify estimated production and quantities.
• Lead field execution of civil scopes with emphasis on concrete works and earthworks.
• Oversee and coordinate civil work ensuring compliance with specs and safety.
• Monitor concrete and soils testing and take corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with EHS to implement safety programs.
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and manage subcontractors.
