Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer in Canada to contribute to the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substations. You will lead conceptualization, planning, and execution within a project team, and prepare client-facing reports that meet required formats.

The role emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice, and potential travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• Experience tracking schedules and expenditures and client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Take active role in project conceptualization, planning, and execution.
• Troubleshoot and solve a wide range of electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports presenting technical and project information per client requirements and S&L formats.
• Collaborate with peers through S&L Communities of Practice to share knowledge.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
