Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction Leader with field experience in electrification in British Columbia, Vancouver area. The role oversees construction management on an ongoing MSA across BC, with on-site focus and occasional office visits.

The candidate should have strong leadership in projects including substations, power generation, and transmission, with integration of outages and coordination among multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing construction in brownfield/live generation or similar.
• Experience coordinating with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures on live generation stations and HV substations.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction services and develop procedures, tools and practices for construction phase management.
• Oversee day-to-day construction management to align with design, budget, and schedule.
• Manage safety plans and compliance with plans and specifications; interface between client and contractor.
