Job summary

Ovintiv Canada ULC is seeking engineering students for a comprehensive student program in Calgary, offering CO-OP and traditional streams. You will work with a mentor on real projects, from mud motor optimization to gas processing equipment, gaining hands-on experience while delivering meaningful contributions.

Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an engineering program (3rd or 4th year) through December 2027, be eligible to work in Canada, and participate for at least 4 months.

Qualifications

• Petroleum, Chemical, geological, electrical, mechanical engineering disciplines encouraged but not required.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time engineering student through December 2027 at a Canadian university (3rd or 4th year preferred).
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and be available for at least 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Work on real projects under a mentor, with responsibilities contributing to the team.
• Roles may include Reservoir & Development, Drilling, Completions, Operations & Production, or Infrastructure.
• Demonstrate initiative and contribute to Ovintiv projects in Calgary or in the field.
