Ovintiv Inc. invites students to join our summer internship program focused on safety within the upstream oil and gas sector. You will work with a mentor and engage in meaningful projects across field operations, safety programs, and health activities.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time through December 2027 and able to reside in Grande Prairie, AB, or Dawson Creek, BC. A valid Class 5 license is required, and travel in Western Canada is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must reside or be willing to reside in Grande Prairie, AB, or Dawson Creek, BC.
• Enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Safety-sensitive position with pre-assignment testing.

• Support field safety programs, education, and awareness initiatives.
• Participate in field inspections, audits, and hazard identification.
• Assist with risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Support industrial hygiene and occupational health activities.
• Analyze process safety data to identify trends.
• Assist with safety management system improvements and regulatory initiatives.
