Job summary

Alco TMI Fabrication in Alma, QC seeks an experienced welder to join our on-site fabrication team. You will study engineering drawings, assemble plates and sections, and weld or bolt components to form final structures such as pressure vessels, tanks, and boilers.

Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and plasma arc welding is preferred; safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential. A Registered Apprenticeship certificate and five years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements
• Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
