The Consumer Capital team is passionate about enabling go-to-market and internal capabilities to deliver on the Consumer strategy, maximize portfolio returns & enhance the customer experience.

Within the Consumer Capital team is our Market Leadership Team (MLT) - a small but high performing team, responsible for governing a capital portfolio of hundreds of millions of dollars each year. As part of the MLT, you will be responsible for managing the annual capital planning process and driving monthly performance updates at the Consumer Capital Leadership Forums. As well, you will collaborate with other MLT Capital team members to deliver on annual capital efficiency targets, leverage existing financial management processes to support reporting requirements and partnering with business stakeholders of all levels across TELUS Consumer Solutions to support capital goals.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

We're looking for a team player who thrives in a business ownership environment and strives to achieve best-in-class standards for TELUS’ capital management and governance processes.

You’re an exceptional thinker - you are able to work across complex vast portfolios and not only identify capital inefficiencies but you are able to propose solutions. When looking at governance, you are able to review and assess the current state and then implement industry-leading processes.

You have strong communication skills - you will work with a broad group of cross-functional stakeholders. We want someone to have the presence to engage, present and challenge ideas, and communicate recommendations to the Consumer leadership team on a regular basis.

You have strong business acumen - you are able to analyze business cases, understand the business implications of decisions, and provide guidance to stakeholders. You have the passion to constantly challenge the status quo and to seek and drive continuous improvements. In return, you’ll see how the leadership at TELUS makes decisions on our strategic priorities and you, in turn, will be part of all the amazing experiences we will create, for both our customers and our frontlines.

Here's how

  • Annual Capital Planning: establish the annual planning program for 2026 capital allocations and supporting processes & reporting
  • Governance: implement process improvements, ensure all initiatives within the portfolio maintain a high standard of compliance on TELUS’ governance requirements
  • Business Casing: partner with key stakeholders and finance leads to review, challenge, and enhance business cases - ensuring clarity on benefits, resource needs, and strategic alignment
  • Executive Reporting & Performance Analysis: provide regular executive-level reporting, as well as ad-hoc analysis across multiple related topics
  • Stakeholder & Change Management: work as a trusted advisor and influencer, building strong relationships across TCS to foster engagement, drive adoption of capital governance practices, and support change initiatives.
