Velan Inc. seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the full recruitment cycle for specialized technical roles across Velan. You will source, screen, interview, and onboard talent while advising managers on recruitment strategy and labor trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum of five years in talent acquisition, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience recruiting both unionized and non-unionized employees.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades, production personnel, professionals, and management.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Manage the entire recruitment process, from job requisition approval to hiring.
• Draft and post job advertisements on various recruitment platforms.
• Source candidates, conduct resume screening, and lead interviews.
• Advise managers on recruitment strategies and labor market trends.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and prepare employment offers.
• Ensure compliance with collective agreements when recruiting unionized employees.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, employment agencies, and other recruitment sources.
• Participate in job fairs and employer branding activities to promote Velan.
• Support the onboarding of new employees and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Produce recruitment performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
