Job summary

IMT Precision in Ontario is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full‑cycle recruitment for skilled trades, engineering and leadership roles. You will develop sourcing strategies, craft compelling postings, assess candidates, and coordinate offers, while partnering with hiring managers to meet growth objectives.

You will build strong relationships with educational institutions and community partners, ensure a professional recruitment journey, and drive workforce planning

Qualifications

• HR certificate, diploma or related post-secondary education required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, IR, Psychology, Sociology or related field is an asset.
• RPR designation is considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades, engineering, and high-volume production roles.
• Strong interviewing, assessment, sourcing, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS and LinkedIn Recruiter; ADP Workforce Now is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades, production, engineering and leadership roles.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Create job postings reflecting IMT Precision culture and employment brand.
• Conduct sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, reference checks and offers.
• Design and improve candidate assessment tools and interview guides.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and evaluate talent.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and drive process improvements.
• Build talent pipelines for growth and succession.
• Engage colleges, universities, trade schools, and agencies for partnerships.
• Proactively engage passive candidates via networking and events.
