Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a Software Lifecycle Management Advisor in Canada to lead ITAM/SLM governance, data analysis and KPI driven optimization. You will analyze software usage, drive rationalization, and coordinate automated lifecycle processes across complex tech environments.

You will work with partners to improve software licensing cost efficiency, oversee data governance, and leverage dashboards like Power BI to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum four years in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or Software Lifecycle Management (SLM).
• Experience in project mode and/or process optimization.
• Experience in IT process governance.
• Experience with operational dashboards and KPIs.
• Strong data analysis and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Experience with digital workplace environments (desktop and virtual).
• Knowledge of SCCM/MECM, Juriba, Power BI and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and analyze issues, challenges, needs and corrective actions for the sector.
• Follow up to solve complex problems; develop objectives, solutions and action plans.
• Analyze information, conduct studies and draft reports.
• Oversee and improve the software version compliance process and coordinate corrective actions.
• Define, track and analyze KPIs related to compliance, software removals and software usage.
• Monitor and analyze Power BI dashboards to identify discrepancies and actions.
• Manage software removal activities, including analysis, prioritization and tracking.
• Oversee data governance for software usage (metering).
• Conduct analyses to rationalize the application portfolio and optimize licensing costs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation of lifecycle processes.
