Job summary

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is seeking a Scheduling & Workforce Optimization Partner to actively facilitate scheduling across SHN's General Site and satellite locations. You will align staffing with collective agreements, models of care, and operational needs, partnering with leadership to ensure safe, cost-efficient staffing.

The role emphasizes workforce design, rotation optimization, analytics, and system administration for UKG, with engagement across HR, Scheduling, and front-line

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years scheduling experience in a unionized acute care setting is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with analytical software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) is required.
• Experience with building and optimizing schedules and master rotations.
• Knowledge of UKG or other electronic scheduling systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Workforce Design: support staffing models for units/departments and optimize relief staff mix.
• Scheduling: advise on rotation management techniques to optimize resource utilization.
• Analytics and Reporting: conduct quantitative analysis to support decisions and improvements.
• System Administration: train UKG users and provide ad hoc metrics for decision making.
